Chicago Trip

Chicago Trip July 25-28 1998

	The first day I walked out along Lake Michigan a storm came up rather quickly. Within 5 minutes of taking this picture the wind was trying to take down the tent-thing you see there. About 15 mintues later I was in the Drake Hotel and it was puring outside.
Sunday I visited the Chicago Museum of History and Technology with Bob Watson and his family. He made sure I visited U-Boat 505. It was very tight inside... and they say 60 men worked in there before it was captured!
	Here I am trying to brush up on my German. Vorsicht -- oops, I think that means don't touch.
On another walk I got a pretty good picture of the Drake Hotel in relation to the Hancock Center which is behind it. Oh, the Drake is between the trees and the lower right side of the Hancock. See that purple or bluish thing go up from there.
	Later on Sunday I walked further north with Alan Blatecky. Here's the view looking back towards town.
