This year the Fort Hunt High School Class of 1966 (Alexandria, VA) joined with the alumni of 1965 & 1967. I went to the informal get together on Friday night and the Picnic on Sunday.

Here are some photos from the picninc on Sunday. I don't have all the names right now, but will work to get the right names associated with the faces.

The picnic was held at the Fort Hunt Picinic Area -- fitting hey?

This is Mrs. Hall and Bruce Woodard. She taught me two years of Latin. Et tu?

I managed to get in the picture Tu.

Grace (Hulings) Dougherty was one of the more familiar faces I saw on Friday night. She and John, her husband, were among the group I spent time with way back when. John didn't make the picnic.

Across the table from Grace was John Royall and Dee Dougherty.

John can be contacted at royallj@fedcenter.com
and you can see his web work at:

Here's Grace again with Lynn (Hutcheson) Haney. They both live in the Alexandria area.

Bruce Barrett, in the red and blue is now in Tallahassee, FL. He's talking with Lynn Greenwood in white on far right. That's Bruce Jensen behind in ball cap and Jim Cheal with back to camera.

Tom Harvey is one of the organizers of the whole reunion. He's talking to Waine Hicks .
You can catch his web page at: http://members.aol.com/FHHS67/forthunt.html

Here's another photo of Lynn (Hutcheson) Haney on the right. The couple next to her includes her daughter and future grand child. Ah, time marches on!

There were a lot of small groups having their picture taken. Cameras flashing a lot and all that. I have it on good authority* that the Small group is Dave Speck, Doug Burnes, Bonnie Hall, Waine Hicks, and Wendy Harn with her back to camera.

* Thanks to Tom Harvey

Wesley Chappel & his daugher came down from Pennsylvannia where they can't get cable or satellite, but do have access to the Internet.

Sally Smith is now publisher of a small newspaper, the Noe Valley Voice, in the San Francisco area. Check it out at: http://www.noevalleyvoice.com/

Here is Sally and her brother Drake along with Bonnie Hall reading Sally's paper. One of the sections inside includes photos of the Noe Valley Voice reading perusing their pages all over the world. Now she can submit her own.

This un-assuming building is where I spent the last year of my military career. It is the office section of the garage. Which used to be for Company B of the 91rst Combat Engineers Battalion.

That's where I learned to do riot control and drive a motor grader. Just two of my many careers.
