Visit to the George School
Dec. 16, 1997

Miss Megan and I made a site visit this week to the George School in Newtown, PA. She's looking at possible places to spend her last years in high school. I took a couple digital snaps while Jamie Keller gave us a guided tour. (You can also read about the George School at Peterson's Guide online.)
Starting off on the guided tour. Jamie took us to one of the classroom buildings, I don't remember the the name, but art classrooms and studios were on the second floor.
Looking back over my shoulder I see the Main Building. This has dorms, offices, cafeteria, and even a children's center in the basement.
This is the view from the new sports center which has swimming pool and indoor gym. If you check out the map at the Peterson's site we are walking up the road from the bottom center.
We just left the auditorium and are heading to another classroom. Yah, I know this is not the greatest text, but the pictures are not half bad.

A view from the auditorium up towards the Main Building.
One thing for sure, there are many stairs at the George School. Here's a side view of one of the buildings. I think it's one of the dorms.
