March 9, 1998.
There is high water here today. I came home to find the water up to the fence at the bottom of the yard. So, why not, I dragged the Folboat through the gate and pole'd it out towards the creek. Oh, it's 72 degrees here.

You can see the water up to the fence. Over there on the right is the Folboat. I moved it between the fence and the shed.
Looking over to the right side of the yard. The hump in the  middle of the picture are the three wagons-full of gum balls I  raked up two weekends ago. Wow.
Now I'm out in the boat looking back to the house. I can not paddle, having to pole the boat.
I made it! The house is just visible as the yellow color in the center of the screen. Now the wind is kicking up. I worked my way back into the reeds.
Pushing back through the reeds. You can see the house better now.
I've paddled and poled over to the middle of the yard.
Well, I made it back. Whew, it was harder than I thought it would be. Didn't get too muddy.
Last picture of the other gate. On the other side is where there is a wood walkway, now under water.
