This year Sarah Scott, our Number One Daughter, began her college career at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio. She deferred a year from her graduation at the Colorado Rocky Mountain School.
Sally and I drove her up to Gambier on Saturday, August 24. It is a 520 or so mile trip from Durahm, NC to Gambier, OH. What should have been a 8.5 hour drive took our poor overloaded wagon 9.75 hours.
I don't have photos of the drive available yet, but will post them as soon as I am able. What is posted here are some snaps from when we first moved her into her room, on our way to the convocation, the procession, opening convocation, the reception following the convocation, and after she was somewhat settled in.
