Born Detroit, Michigan, 1927. Art Student's League and Black Mountain College. Studied 1945-1948 with Josef Albersg Robert Motherwell, Mary Callery and Ossip Zadkine. Exhibited 1949 -- 1952 with American Abstract Artists, New York. Founder and organizer of the New York Correspondence School. Exhibit, Rueben Gallery, 1959-1962. One-man shows, Feigen Gallery, 1968 and 1969. Lives on Long Island.
