In addition to the need to transform education there is a pressing requirement to educate people in order for them to defend theirselves from the glut of facts, images, figures, and other information. Information literacy must not be equated to "Internet 101" or "How to use a computer." Critical thinking skills combined with improved comprehension, can enale poeple to make better decisions. Teachers share well with their students. I am not sure that they know how to "share" with their colleagues. Annecdotally I believe that most teachers are not team players. But, given the training, skill set, and opportunity they could do so. (10/15)

We need to provide the latest and greatest tools to even a select few in order for them to learn, know, understand, use the technology with the knowledge and agreement that it will be their responsibility to transfer that knowledge to their peers and their successors. (10/15)
